South Texas Sears

November 28th
So on Black Friday I was camped out at the Brownsville Sears to get the Kenmore Front Load Washer Dryer combo. I was about number 20 in line, ( I showed up at 4:15 am and did not camp out) and was the first person to buy one when they opened. Original delivery date December 1st. Mission Accomplished. So I head off to buy tools. Fast forward 15 minutes when I realize I was overcharged. I head back and talk to the girl who realized the mistake and voids my order to fix the mistake. She tries to re-enter the deal and it will not work. Calls the manager = twenty minutes later. Situation fixed and he tells me that I will have my washer dryer in late January. WHAT! You have to be kidding me...No! Sales girl who made the mistake signals for me to settle down. Long story short I have a similar model washer dryer arriving on December 15th. OK that will work.

December 15th
I arrive to pick up the washer dryer. They load it into the back of the truck and I proceed to drive off. Wait, I need to make sure that they gave me the right washer dryer. I grab the paperwork off of the boxes only to discover that I have been given a black dryer and a white washer. I go inside and ask to see a manager. The manager does not show up but I am instructed to go back to the appliance department. I make them unload the washer dryer from the back of my truck and head to the appliance department..Once there they look at my paperwork and tell me that the earliest I can have this washer dryer is late January. I tell them this is a Christmas gift and remind myself that I was first in line to buy this deal. They go to the back and tell me that all they have in stock are a black dryer and a white washer (Duh). Then they disappear for about twenty minutes. When they come back they offer me a selection of about three different washer dryer combos for their mistakes. I ended up with a Whirlpool washer dryer combo at a Kenmore deal price. Wait, isn't Kenmore made by Whirlpool? Long story short this sage will more than likely continue when I pick it up on Thursday.
